I thought this might be the case as it does not take much to total the bikes of today.
Better the bike than Carl.
the roads are fine --- ITS THE CAGE DRIVERS!!! --- I saw a guy eating cereal....... from a BOWL w/ both hands OFF the wheel at 70 on I-4 once.......
It amazes me what people do when driving, other than DRIVE! I passed a car that was weaving in and out of two lanes on the freeway. It was a young woman, she had her foot on the steering wheel painting her toenails!!!
Get well Carl!!! Keys gotta a hold of me shortly after your "incident" and I thought I would log on sooner but. . . Well, I guess I'm finally logged in 
If the bike is totaled I know where you can get a slightly used '13.
You sure went about meeting pretty nurses the hard way. Now get out of that bed and carry on with the retired life.

HEY YA'LL!!!! -- its cold outside!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Touched base with Carl this AM. (Thanks to Dave and Otherwise for the reminder !!)
Carl reported a breakfast at IHOP followed by an appointment with the Surgeon who did the collar bone and rib ....all are healing nicely and he is doing well. Prognosis 2 months till back to normal (which is awesome because Carl never was NORMAL)
Then in the afternoon an appointment w/ the surgeon did his wrist and radius -- they removed the cast took out all the stitches and put a splint on all is healing fine and AHEAD OF SCHEDULE ..........
HE says MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
and I will parrot that remark!

Glad to hear he's healing well. Sounds like he'll be mixing it up with the cagers in no time.

Hello all. I thank you for the well wishes and prayers. I am now out of rehab and at my new home in Dania Beach. Dania Beach is a suburb of Ft Lauderdale. I am continuing rehab as an outpatient. I am healing and doing better everyday.
Unfortunately my Tiger is a total loss. So as i heal, i will be looking for another ride. The docs tell me I should be back to normal (as if I were ever normal) in about two months. I am up and walking unassisted. Having only one arm is slowing me down.
I will post later detailing the accident which was definitely not my fault. That stretch of I95 through Palm Beach County is definitely dangerous.
I'm glad to be alive and back to Triumph Talk. I owe a big thanks to Keys for being my messenger.

Nice to see your back home Carl ... in my experience i think your healing will speed up in your own suroundings .
