No snow for us but its cold as it can be, only a month or 2 and the weather will change to tornado awareness time, that snow will seem tame then. Not a fun time your whole world can be taken away in a heartbeat, you have a tendency to pray more that time of year.
Yes, tornados suck. Terrible devastating power. Wouldn't wish one anywhere. There is the odd one that makes it's way up this way, but usually pretty tame compared to the ones in the US and other parts of Canada.
30c is a walk in the park for us when it starts hitting the 40's them we start to notice it 
Another rainy and cold day for us, my indoor/outdoor cat is tired of it too.
The weather this winter is insane.
Here it is the middle of February and it's 8C (46F) - not that I'm complaining mind you - but "normal" for this time of year is very cold and down around -15C (4-5F).
Not a flake of snow anywhere (not that I'm complaining), but the temps will drop below freezing again soon - and probably back up again.
Oh well, each day is a day closer to spring and bike time again.

You are right R, it never snows in Ms but it did 2 times this year, i am ready for tomato planting time!!!!

I thought I'd have a go at daily rant, seems like my kinda thing...hahahaha so here goes ,cough cough....How on earth do Insurance companies sleep at night?!....I was strategically displace from my ride back in Oct 17 while minding my business one dark and shabby morning by an aging fella in a Chevy who had not had the fortitude to wipe a big enough hole in his windscreen to see out of so after I'd put my head through his window to wish him good morning I set about getting my bike picked up by a tow truck for assessment long story short, they decided my bike was worth x amount and sent me a cheque for that minus what they deemed my bike to be worth scrap as it was a CAT b right off....I had no say in any of this it was all done while I was on holiday, so I cant brake the bike for parts myself..against the law, I have to trawl the internet for breakers who are willing to pay that amount for the bike (still looking) insurance company will only give me £50 which is £100's less than the scrap value.....I'm feeling a little hard done by today GRRRRRRR (that was a small growl to prove it)!

Doesn't seem so I contacted the insurance drones to be told that is their policy and they can only offer me 50 scrap...its just such a rip off...added to loosing my beloved bike...have a new tiger so I guess it's not all bad just don't like the way they do things..you know..

As far as i can see they change the goal posts on you at every opportunity and make up there own laws and get away with it ...... dont get me wrong there are plenty of good insurances out there but there not a legal requirment as vehicle insurance is so they know you have to have it and they take full advantage of it !!!!

Insurance companies are a monoply that should not be allowed to control things the way they do. Someone is getting rich to turn a blind eye and let this happen. Getting close to that way here as well.

Fortunately, knock on wood, I've never had to deal with an insurance company, but have heard many horror stories about their less than scrupulous ways.
OTOH, I've also heard opposite stories.

@Paula I must agree with you on the insurance companies. If I look at what I pay for everything insured each month it makes me wonder just how much money they have made off me over the years. Also considering the times I have claimed against it I can count on one hand. The big problem is the day you don't have it is the day you lose everything in a fire or something.
