You guys are right,SORRYi don't know what i was thinking. well it's Sunday morning i looked outside and just like the weather forecaster said its 70+F and i feel horrible about it, being so happy yesterday and then being called down on the carpet today i think i am just going to sit around inside and and feel :notworthy:. I hope this ranting makes you guys feel better, i probably will not get my 1976 Bonnie out ,even if it is full of gas and has a fresh oil change, and go riding, even if it is a beautiful day and not snowing or raining or cold even if it is 70+ f. :)

I am watching a TV show about bad drivers and I wonder how these people ever managed to pass their drivers test. Our side we have loads of drivers out their that have either bought their license or just don't have one. When you think of the outcome to what these people can do to others it makes me sick but they just carry on.

We have a bad problem in this country concerning illegal Mexicans that have no license, insurance or address, also some of the citizens could care less about insurance even if its against the law. I have uninsured motorist coverage on all of my vehicles, and you better have it around here! There is no reason for this either, the laws should impose jail time witch would help solve alot of the problem.

The human race never ceases to amaze me with their stupidity.
Here, very often, knuckle-dragging idiots are involved in a traffic accident and have neither a license (suspended) or insurance.
We have next to no illegal resident problem in Canada like in the U.S., but I'm sure there are probably some.
It seems to me that if you are so completely illegal you would take as much caution, don't speed, and obey every traffic law so as to not be picked up - and not drive drunk which is why your permit was suspended in the first place FACE
But I guess common sense isn't what they're about or they wouldn't be illegal in the first place.
Growing up, I always remember my father saying, "There's nuthin' stupider than people."
He didn't have a lot of formal education, but he was still pretty smart and I couldn't have had a better father to keep me on the right path.

They don't care when there is a "sanctuary" policy in place, and they know they won't be deported.

Back to the auto insurance thing. I heard on the news Dallas Texas passed a new city law that if you get caught driving with no ins. or no license the city tows the auto ($320) and impounds it at $20 a day. Now that did some good, they say the impound lot is full and auto wrecks have gone down a bunch. Things like this will put a stop to alot of crime and will help to get people off the streets that don't have any right to be driving!

White stuff!!!!!? We have had our share of rain and freezing rain turning everything into a skating rink here. +8 Celsius here last night and pouring rain. now -17 C here tonight. + temps and more rain on the week end.
Roads washed out in multiple places due to ice jams and the sudden thawing of the previous snows.
This winter has been a PITA and Royal mess.

It is exactly the same here freeze thaw , freeze thaw , freeze thaw is there no end ! FACE:ice:

Qship is right, we had the same sort of crazy mild, wet weather with high winds that all but killed the snow. Just small shovelled piles left. It's crazy!!
Then the temp dropped like a stone overnight to well below freezing where it should be this time of year.
When I was a kid winter would set in by mid to late December and get seriously cold in January for about 6-8 weeks and stay that way into March.
A "January thaw" would happen sometimes, but these days it's a yo-yo every other day or few days.
Just for laughs this is a picture I took in 1960 after an exceptionally heavy snow storm. My dad is shovelling out by hand. I was too and only paused to take the pictures.
That's my car in the bottom picture BGRIN

All that said we had a seriously bad winter three years ago and it broke my snow blower BGRIN

That is a little more than hemi and i had, but we had all that cold weather to go with it and don't forget we don't have snow shovels or snow plows and very little salt only what we could get at Walmart. I am just glad it is over with. And while i am at it why don't yall up there just get a snow melting machine, something like a big hair dryer?

Back on the subject of bad drivers.

So today I stop at a red traffic light at a T junction. There are just two lanes here one to turn left and one to turn right, so I stop in the left lane next to a car in the right lane. The traffic light turns green and as I am pulling away to turn left the car in the right also turns left just missing me. So now I am behind him and just down the road another traffic light and this one is red, he just goes right through it. So when it turns green I go and catch up to him and we get to the third traffic light but this one is green, so he stops

At this point I feel it is better to put as much space between him and me as I can so I pass him at the green light that he is now stopped at.
