Yes, we work more hours a year than the 40 hour a week zombies. We work holidays, zombies are off holidays. Our vacations are hour based so zombies get more vacation days.
No call for help.

I guess i should have said i also am retired along with being self employed, just have to work for some beer money ect.

At least it's not a Monday thru Friday or Monday thru Thursday work week. I don't know how folks work such a schedule.
I do 50 hrs a week and it’s a long week sometimes... but it can feel a short week as well when your really busy .
Rant and a thank you! First thank you to y’all for being here and y’alls support and advice. Rant concerns other Triumph forums. Years ago when I first got my motorcycle license and started looking at Triumph motorcycles I joined the typical Triumph forums. I apparently broke a rule and said howdy to too many people. The admin said I was post “whoring”. Struck the majority of my posts and to this day I can’t access my profile or delete it. I’ve asked several times to have my access restored or my account deleted. No response. I can log on if I choose to, but that seems pointless. Another forum, I posted to just recently somehow said I was spamming and revoked my posting privileges after my first intro post. Again thanks y’all for being here.

You may be interested to learn that this is how this forum got started.
The owner of TT (DaveM) was rudely treated on a Triumph forum (probably the same one) so he started this one over 13 years ago.
I was also a member of that forum and quickly moved over to this one within a couple of weeks.
Nobody here will never be disrespected or treated badly on TT. If that ever happens the perp can expect to be chopped in quick order.
Over the years we've had to get rid of a couple of dorks, but overall this is a very smooth running forum, always friendly, ready to help and willing to share.
Did it rhyme with “fat”, if so that’t the one. Yes, egos there for sure. I was dumbfounded that an admin/mod would get upset over an enthusiastic new member greeting and getting to know other new members. Apparently greeting folks was reserved for select people. Made me wary of greeting people for sure.

Here at TT we encourage lots of posting and getting acquainted. You don't have to worry about being wary here.
The forum can get quiet at times even though we have hundreds of members and new ones joining every day.
Your thread about the yellow Thruxton, for example, was a good one and that's what we like - something to join in on and exchange info and views.

These post remind me of my experiences with another forum i was a member of, sounds like the same one you are talking about, thats why i am here !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yup, that"other forum" is slow to navigate not right for me either.
I left that other forum, the same one, the day after DaveM started this one. I was never treated badly there; but I saw how DaveM and others were treated and I could not abide that. DaveM was treated badly soley because of where he was from. Myself and a good friend both joined here the same day.
