:y2: :y2: Its a Horex 500cc SOHC . This was a cool one

Horex in Germany, designed a Horex 500cc SOHC vertical-twin that was thoroughly modern in concept and execution. The impecunious and enthusiastic engineer of Hosk in Japan made an Oriental version of the Horex 500 motorcycle. The Hosk was rather expensive - and fast. It was the only Japanese bike that could challenge the English singles and twins for performance. Eventually Hosk constant cash flow difficulties delivered them to the arms of Showa, which continued to produce an improved version of the Hosk. Showa sold to Yamaha in 1961 and the old Horex inspired 500 twin went with it.

A rebus clue:

common name for a lady of the evening + a homonym for the process of destruction of a building = ?????

Well chosen, the Horex is just obscure enough for me to miss the answer and being thick the clue didn't help.
With hindsight, yeah I knew it all along.:y8:
