These are the original manifolds from my '71 Bonneville - 1-3/8 x 16 TPI (some heads use 20 TPI so be sure of yours).

I wire brushed them and checked carb flange flatness with straight edge, and they seem to be in good shape. The balance tube nipples thread in and out just fine, and the stud threads are also in good shape.

These are $125.86 new (KM Jones), price for these is $40 w/o locking nuts (which are $9.89 each new). Sold 'as is.'

This link from MAP cycle suggests that your bike had the fine thread screw-in manifolds. So, I don't think so.

However, precisely when the Meriden factory switched from 20TPI to 16 TPI (which these are) is uncertain in my mind. If you have a thread gauge, it's easy to check, as there's plenty of room to see how the gauges are engaging the threads in the head.

Thank you much Sir. Am away from the project and wanted to affirm as I do need 2 manifolds and Locknuts.
Keep me posted as to your future itinerary concerning travel through Utah.

You bet. I've saved your contact info in my phone and will add your name to the folks in the vintage tour thread who I'm hoping to meet, should the trip to Ashton, OR materialize next year (there's also an Ashton, ID, which I was unaware of).

I used to live in SLC and my Dad's good friends were part of an extended family that sold Redford the land he developed for Sundance. Their kids still own some acreage and cabins I used to visit back in the day.

Oh how funny! Redford, years prior, originally purchased the Elk Meadows property above our old ranch in Beaver for that same purpose. His numerous demands and attitude resulted in his inability to purchase ANY water rights up here and were followed by a fire sale to some great people that built Eagle Point Resort and community. The true Butch Cassidy (Parker) was born 2 blocks from the Beaver Post Office stands now. During the Indian uprising and massacre they flew and built their farm a stones throw from we rancher. Unbeknownst, his family are quietly settled throughout our area AND the true story will never be told. His LDS family were NOT proud of his escapdes. Every several years they do gather at a secluded graveside above us. They say he was a good man.
No questions necessary.
Look forward to meeting ya.
