is it a coventry eagle ! i only new the engine cos i had a 500 jap engine in my speedway bike.

It's a 1925 DOT racer _ JAP engined.
DOT was said to sztand for "Devoid of Trouble"
Built in England from the early 1900's until ~ the 1970's. Later models used Villiers engines.
