The RT 350 was the top DKW motorcycle model developed in Ingolstadt. It had a powerful, smooth two-stroke twin engine and could reach a top speed of 115 km/h. The hydraulic rear brake was another new feature. The sidecar was built by the Binder company in Reichertshofen, near Ingolstadt. Styled to resemble the DKW 3=6 passenger car, the hinge-up cover made entering and leaving the sidecar much easier.

The Zündapp KS 750 and BMW R 75 are specially constructed for the German Wehrmacht. About 70% of the parts on both Wehrmachtsgespanne are equally. In this way the spare part support is simplified. Characteristic features for these military sidecar combination are: rear wheel and sidecar wheel are driven. The gear: 4 road- 1 off road- 1 back differential is lockable. Transmission has got four gears, plus one terrain gear and reverse gear. Brakes on rear- and sidecar wheel work hydraulically (the first motorbike equipped with that feature ). A completely restored and perfectly running Wehrmachtsgespann will give you a lot of fun on- and off-road!
I think it's fantastic that they know exactly how many were made (Production : 18.695 pieces) considering the conditions at the time, good old German bean counting.
