Re: TriumphTalk Member's Classic Bike photos

Thanks for the comments Guys. For the most part of the year, the bike doesn't look pristine, as I ride it a lot, however coming up to the annual bike show I get a little anal and give it a good detail. Looking good brings pleasure, but riding it is magic. :y2:

Very well stated! TUP

Hello all! Just bought my '76 Bonneville and found this site. I have had 3 T140's in the distant past, '71, '72 and a '79 Special.. Fate had me stumble across this '76 being sold locally and I went for it. Took it on the road after a little maintenance and realized I had forgotten how fast and fun they are.. I have 3 Harleys that I enjoy, but this bike is a whole new world. I plan on tearing it down eventually and painting the frame. Other than some minor details, i'm gonna leave it like it is for a while and get some riding in. Hope to get some help from this site and contribute when I can.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to TT and have made my obligatory intro.

I own 5 bikes - the oldest is a 1913 Royal Enfield Model 180 and the newest is a 2012 Triumph Speed Triple R ... damn, that's a 99 year gap, knew I should have waited until next year to get the Speedie!!

Here's my 1936 Triumph Tiger 80 (posted a few in my album):

Here's my T120RV Cafe Racer project (I'm not doing the work myself):

Great to be part of this illustrious group!

Hey there, Adrian! Welcome to the forum; you have a great and interesting collection of rolling hardware there. Funny that your Trump started out with a front end and no rear, now has a rear end and no front! You need to start a new thread and cover the bike's build... DON'T FORGET LOTS OF PIX!

You have a fantastic stable. Please do start a thread with the pictorial progress of the build. I look forward to seeing the pics and the pics of the completed project.

Yep, 78 is more refined; 79 even better with RITA electronic ignition and rear disc.

Hi Paul,

I'm new to this post, A kiwi in Aus. My bike is a 1979 T140D with bits of 1982-3 T140 on it. Has laid in the shed for 12 years. Have started to strip off the bits not working in order to get it back on the road. Emjoy reading your posts.20130303_185809.jpg
