Great shots, that's coming from, firstly a Triumph owner and secondly a former "bullie" owner and lover.:y45:

Edit,

Sorry, can't help myself. My old girl, she had a long and happy innings but gone now.

Looks like a 1940 3HW.

I didn't know that but it was bugging me, so I poked about and I think I've ID'd it.

Re: TriumphTalk Member's Classic Bike photos

Hi Guys,

This is my only classic a 1982 TSS 8 valve. Purchased it from Alabama USA with 5985 miles on it and in original condition, including tyres. Have owned it for two years. Spent 1 year restoring it to new condition. Have ridden 4000 miles since restoration and very happy with its performance.

To the best of my knowledge, there were only 112 of these made for the US market, 3 of which are now in Australia and one in New Zealand. I suspect there are quite a few hiding in collections or sheds in the USA. :y61:

She sure does look great Sea Dog!!!

BTW....a few years ago I remember seeing one for sale at the rather tiny Triumph dealership (in the USA) that I bought my Trophy from. It sold, but I have no idea to whom or to where it went.
