we are just in the grip of one storm after another at the moment as the jet stream just acts as a runway bringing them in , the high winds have been distructive with gusts over 90mph and driving rain with many places around the country flooded out .
this is now 2 weeks of this weather and yet more on the way its very hard to get anything done ! .... just constant cleaning up of litter from blown over bins , clearing blocked drains or cutting up and removing fallen tree's

Damn, Shane, sounds like you guys have your hands full in Scotland this year. If I remember correctly, you guys had a bad winter last year as well.

I've been following the storm news. Grim stuff 
Well today we sitting at 42 degree Celsius = 107.6 degree Fahrenheit
Ye we have another week of wet and windy and then another storm for next weekend 
damn its getting frustrating not being able to do anything !

It’s all our fault . We allow all that Siberian crap to get south of the the 49 th , then we boot all the east coast US garbage over to Europe to cause more havoc . No wonder we get no respect .

Well this was reported as being our hottest day in 55 years.

Dave , tha'ts to warm for me, all we have had is rain for weeks and 1 dry day every once in a while. I don't think i could handle that kind of heat you people have!
I don't want to, but I've handled 116 degrees F in Palm Springs, where their humidity is created by having too many golf courses and pools.
That humidity we have in the south is a killer.
That is a fact!!
I really wish our area would have some good rain and break this 5 year drought we now in.
