Dave, I can now empathize with you. I was paying for 6 meg speed which was working fine for us. Then we installed three Nest security cameras (after an attempted break-in). We did not have enough bandwidth to support these cameras and our other devices. I asked our ISP to increase our speed to 10 megs, the highest there ADSL will support. Instead they cut our speed to 3.5 meg - and still charged us for 6 megs. They claimed 10 meg was not available in our neighbor hood due to old equipment which was overloaded. They said they would restore our 6.0 service. But they did not do so.

We now have a new cable ISP and speed of about 30 meg. And for less money. We are now doing away with our landline and all accounts with our former ISP.

Went for a ride yesterday (1054 Ks 14 hours 6 stops) it has not rained for 3 months here ( I bet you're way ahead of me) and for the last 3 hours heading home it rained cats & dogs  I know we needed it but why now? The Gods must have been watching & waiting just for this moment for me to go for a ride and now they are sitting around a cloud laughing there butts off. Odin turns to Thor cracking up "that was so worth the wait"

Sorry your ride got rained on; but glad to hear you guys got some rain.
We sure do need it, when it does rain after so long the oil & crap starts leaching out of the road I could feel the bike starting to slip a few times so I had to slow it down. Forgot to mention it was also night by the time the rain hit  Made it very interesting.

Funny how being caught in the rain on a bike is more acceptable than walking in the rain. When we used to have rain in our winter month way back I would never even think about not going out on the bike if it were raining, then again I only had the bike so it was rain or stay home.

It's official! I despise Winter. Lots of small snowfalls mean you hardly get a break from cleaning it up and now the mercury is reading -26 C this morning, without the windchill. Most of Canada in a deep freeze lately and there are other places colder than here. Baby, it's cold outside.

And I thought it was cold down here FACE

You don't have to shovel rain. Would be a nice break. Lately here seems we can't get away from the freezing rain. We get a little bit of the white goo followed by rain or freezing rain. Then it hits the ground and makes a nice thick layer of ice. Yuck!

You sure can't shovel rain, here lately there has been so much of it that there is nowhere for it to drain off to either, in Jackson our state capital city is flooding, the reservoir is full and people are having their houses flooded, its a mess!
