New dish washer 2 months ago ( 3rd in 11 years ) new Refridgerater 2 weeks ago , 3 grand puff ! Thruxton warning lites on and will cost me a day and 200 $ to get it there and today neighbor sends me a u tube item re Bonneville trannies ,not good . Too hot to ride or play golf and I am hitting pull hooks and pushes . It’s beautiful here though and the Covid thing is going incredibly well . And then there’s the squirrel....

It's been quite hot here the last while, but high 80's and humid is hot for us.

Well this winter we have had 4 days where I needed to wear a thin jacket, then two days when I needed to wear a thicker jacket. As I hate the cold I don't mind a warm winter but it does not help with our critical water shortage we having. Winter we normally count on those cold wet days for our yearly rainfall but nothing this year.

We have been over run with rain this summer, keeps the grass growing, i guess its better to have more rain than you need up to a point.

Its been the most weird summer ever here !!! .... take this week , monday overcast and mild 18c, Tuesday torrential rain all day cold 7c , wednesday mild 16c gales and very high winds 40 - 60 mph , thursday not a breeze or a cloud in the sky very hot 30c , friday over cast humid 22c ,
and thats just a week the months have been all over the place and i would say we had summer in march and april this year it was very hot .

We've been having a very dry, hot and humid summer so far. No steady rain for weeks and the odd shower doesn't do much for farmers and wells in rural areas.
31-32C (high 80'sF) is very hot for us, but at least the nights cool off for sleeping.

Record heat here in Mesquite NV. It was 111 yesterday forecasted to be 114 today.

We normally have our rain during our winter months, this winter we have had very little. I was just reading today that they predict by the end of September one of our main supply dams will run dry.

In spite of little rain, we're surrounded by massive fresh water lakes so we never run low here in the city, but rural areas may soon feel the pinch.
Our summers can often be very wet, and we hate it, but this time around we're wishing for a bit of rain.
When that southern hurricane arrives next week we'll probably get more rain that we need or want
