Was + 8C here today and going to + 10C tomorrow.:)
Saw a few bikes out around here as well. Still too much sand and salt residue on the roads yet. Need some rain to wash that nasty stuff off the roads. Next week we'll get some. Should be good after that if the temps get up around +15C. Mother nature is NOT cooperating in that regard.

That's why I'm never in a hurry to hit the streets in the spring - winter debris.
The salt brine they're putting on the roads and streets these days is nasty stuff. The roads may be dry right now, but fine salt dust finds its way into every nook and cranny where it does its dirty work when it absorbs moisture.
Some rain is coming, but I'll give it a couple of weeks then come out of hibernation.

Some tornadoes and stright line winds came over the state at 4 or 5am this morning, we were lucky enough to miss these, SW of here about 40 mi.'s some touched down but no damage, the storms are continuing on but are decreasing in strength, so far just trees down and 12-13K people out of elect. Lucky again!

Well I subscribed to Amazon Prime Video only to find out that streaming on the TV only comes in a HD and this was after I spent hours selecting movies for my watch list. Now this might sound great having it in HD but the way our internet works our side we pay for x amount of bandwidth a month. The package I now have with my ISP I would have to increase this by 3, the cost of this just puts it all out of what I am prepared to pay for this service. I suppose I still have Netflix that I am using but a bit more content would have been nice.

Unfortunately our local TV offerings our side are rather weak with what was our prime SAT TV now really scarping the bottom of that barrel. The cost of this right now is around $75 US a month. The last time I even watched anything on it was a few month back. However the women in the house watch a few of the channels so I just keep it going. Now they also have cheaper packages but as it works out the channels the women are watching are only available on the Premium package that I now have. So I am paying top $ for basically two channels

The storms are gone this morning only 1 person died in Ms and 1 in La., i don't know about Al or any states N of us, just depends on where you are at at the time. The sun cane out today its cold and feels good, i am going riding.

I think the cold is FINALLY about to break. The week end is looking sunny but cool(5-10C). Look out Monday, plus double digits Celsius. Woo Hoo! Supposed to be up to 16-17 degrees Monday and Tuesday. Might have to take those off work.

We have our speed limit in town as this 60 kilometer/hour = 37.28 mile/hour (mph) and most people seem to stick to it.

Now over the last week or so it seems we have had the go slow convention taking part it town. These people feel that the safe speed is 40 kilometer/hour = 24.85 mile/hour (mph) and just to be extra safe and not have a rollover while executing a turn they take it down to 20 kilometer/hour = 12.42 mile/hour (mph).

Then we also have the more conscientious ones that add in that next level of safety and drive between lanes so you cannot overtake them. I have heard it said this also prevents the wind speed of those drivers racing at 60 kilometer/hour = 37.28 mile/hour (mph) form blowing them over.
