FACE and there's more crap coming on Sunday into Monday.
Whether you get it or we get it, or both, is still uncertain - as is will it be snow or rain - or a combo.
It's a sad time of year SIGH:ohwell:

Hey! This is a ranting thread, not bragging thread. rub a little more salt in that wound, why don't ya.
Here's my rant; all the other guys getting their bikes out of winter hibernation before me, and posting about it.;)

The track and severity of the storm is clearer now and it sounds like it's going to be a major snow storm with 15-30cm (6"-12") of snow.
We've been in the grip of some cold temps lately, otherwise the storm would probably be a rain event.
It's right around the freezing mark so it might go either way.
Nothing to do but wait and grin and bear it.

Well FACE the snow has started and it's snow and not rain as I had hoped :ice: - and it's sticking on the ground and starting to pile up.
It's not a wild storm at all, just a quiet, steady downfall that eventually creeps up and up and up.
All the crocus' and spring perennials that are up will be covered very soon

Well I am surprised that the south shore of Nova Scotia is primarily affected by this. Not even coming close to us this time.
Woo Hoo! :y45:
Sorry, Rocky. It will melt off fast.

It could have been worse I suppose because we didn't get as much snow as was forecasted - about 15 cm (6") - but it's hard to tell.
The storm passed through the night and it's a beautiful sunny day now.
I'll have to get out the shovel later, but it won't be that much of a chore. I just need to push some aside and tidy up.
Please Mother Nature, we've been punished enough for our mild winter. Can we just get on with spring now?

No beer!!! Oh the pain of it all! Call out the National Guard, this is going to be a disaster BGRIN

When I woke up Monday morning we had about 20cm (8") of snow on the ground and I had to shovel as it was wet and heavy snow - too hard on the blower to move it. Slow but sure got the job done in about 35 minutes.
This morning, after two days of bright sunshine there is barely any evidence of the snow :Champ: but the temps are still cool even with the sun.
Probably 1 May before I'll think about getting any bikes out. It's all about the weather.
