With my allergies we no longer have pets but the kids do their part . My daughter has 2 , her children really , old style English Bulldogs that are cared for better than human babies . My son’s partner is a vet so they may have a couple of cats and rabbits to keep the 2 British Bulldogs busy . Don’t recommend the British ones at all but the old English ones are smart , athletic and have lots of personality . My son just lost their 3rd dog , one of those Japanese breeds with the huge eyes , weighed about 4 lbs tops , a sweet little thing that I could have put up with easily but sadly died suddenly and was quickly replaced with Zion the Leonberger a big guy with a great disposition who loves every one . He just a year old , well trained and a great fellow to take for a walk , no drama .

Triton? Is there an interesting story behind that name?
Yes and no, very long story short and it’s impossible to get the feel for it without knowing a guy I used to work with, Chris…he was/is motorcycle guy and Moto Guzzi’s in particular. We named our first chocolate lab Utah because of Chris and a trip he took on his 50th birthday. We had Utah for 11 years, four months after putting him down we get Triton, since Utah was an unusual name, we didn’t want a “common” name for the next one (Triton)…we looked up places in Labrador and picked Triton about 10 minutes before we got him. Again, it’s impossible to get the feel for all of it without knowing Chris, a great guy, toolmaker, and biker.
