It is only when you look back at photo do you really notice how fast they do grow up.
Here is one of our three boys that we adopted from the shelter. They were in the cage together but were still kittens and we just could not leave one behind
The two outer ones died very young and a year apart.
The middle one Sky is still with us.

Well it certainly seems to think it’s at home! Some cats just have a looser definition of what’s theirs. LoL.
That’s not unusual from what I’ve noticed. Cats are very social and love to play. “Your” shared cat seems to have made a conscious choice to visit friends! LoL. Obviously seems to get along with your furry house mates. The owner actually posted on a local lost pet site about a week back about the cat being missing, so I sent her this photo.

She came around to fetch him and you could see they really loved the cat. The problem here is he is the only cat in the home and he craves the company of other cats so he spend most of his day here playing with my cats.
When he first started comming around he wss very young so the other cats seemed to just accept him. That’s not unusual from what I’ve noticed. Cats are very social and love to play. “Your” shared cat seems to have made a conscious choice to visit friends! LoL. Obviously seems to get along with your furry house mates.
Ours are definitely co-habitants.This is a pet thread.
Cats aren't pets, they're co-habitants and if people were smaller we wouldn't be allowed to co-habitate.
That too!Cats rule, dogs drool.
So true of cats and have heard similar stories about cats relocating for various reasons. They are extremely individual. I never really knew cats until I met my in laws. All my misconceptions about cats have vanished. There was a time I thought cats were aloof and didn’t care for companionship. Like 180 degrees wrong. Over twenty years with cats in our household and nearly forty within the family they have shown me that cats are affectionate, love company and are extremely intelligent. If a cat leaves or wanders to another home, it needs something you’re not giving it. They choose who they are with, that to me is extremely intelligent.I mentioned about Snowflake making her new home with us when she ran away from her previous owner that got a dog. She was not a young cat at the time being around 7 years old. She has now been with us in June I think it will be two years.
The one thing that amazed me about her she learned the boundaries of our yard and now very seldom ventures outside this area. She will sit at our main gate on the yard side and watch the world as it passes by and feel safe as a house. So anyone that thinks cats are stupid animals they possibly have new been a slave to a cat before. I always find cats seem to have such an individual personality each having their own little things they will do differently from other cats.
Now we have two ginger cats that visit from houses around us daily and I always say to the wife I am so glad that Snowflake does not roam around like these other cats do and she sticks to what is now her new home.
This is a photo I took a few days back of two of our cats and the ginger cat visiting them.
So from left to right we have Sadie (female), Mr Baggins (male visitor) and Sky (male), Snowflake was sitting in another spot at the time..
