Tuesday is projected to be our coldest day since early February, 2011.
We had a crew leave the Control Room at 0930 in T-shirts and other light shirts, they returned around 30 minutes later about frozen. The wind was calm when they left and was blowing straight out of the north at 25 MPH by time they got back.

we have just come out of the worst storm for 30 years ! 2 days of 80 to 120 mph winds with very heavy rain and flooding ,all trains canceled all road bridges closed and now -5c with a wind chill factor of -22c .

That is a bad blow all right.
its a bit calmer now but the snow has come on the tail end of the storm , but it is for cast to get warmer and calmer next week so the snow wont be hear long .

well its darn strange !!! wind gone now but by god its cold -7c but by sunday morning its going to be 12c 
I got up this morning and it was 1.1C and has now warmed all the way up to 1.6C or 34F to 35F.
There is a high pressure ridge off in the Atlantic that is keeping that cold air way north of us. It was 83F/28.3C here today and forecast to be the same through Tuesday. I've go to Miami tomorrow and I will be using my ac in the truck all of the way.
yep the climate is changing that's for sure , and we will just have to adapt like our ancestors did ,
We could set a record tomorrow, the lowest high temperature in Houston could be busted big time.
Well watching the better weatherman today and he stated we were set to bust the record set in 19:09 for the coldest high temperature on December 7th. Well we set a new record today for the coldest high on December 7th.
It's on the way. . . now send some of that warm stuff.
