We went to the bush this weekend. By 10am it was 32c, by 2pm it was 42c, with humidity! I now know what it must feel like to enter a furnace - as we came out of the airconditioned room or car, the heat hit us like a solid wall sucking the air out of your lungs. The top peak in temps was 47c. As much as I love spending time in the bush, I just can't handle this kind of heat anymore. I think a bit of snow over December would suit me more these days.

That is just plain HOT! Coupled with humidity, it is terrible. I have ridden once in that kind of heat and humidity. It was like riding in a blast furnace.

I love winter! Here's a pic from Saturday evening in Pittsburgh:

For you folk unfamiliar....that white area is called "ice". :-)

Winter is slowly closing in and night temps are below freezing in the -4C (25F) range. The days are at the freezing mark or barely above depending on whether it's sunny or not.
It can only get worse CRY :y15:

LoL. Just talked with the Kids and Grand Baby in North Dakota.....the HIGH today is 9 degrees F .........................yep, 9. I "remember" negative temps from my youth in north Eastern Ohio......but I have been away so long I can't even imagine now.

Rocky I'll prefer "maning up" as I am mowing the yard in 98 degree temps with 97% humidity in August....:y2:
