Those are predtty much the same precautions that we are going. In addition to our schools being closed, out universities and colleges have gone to online classes. In the state of New York (the hardest hit in the US), restaurants and bars can only do take out and delivery. No in house dinning or drinking.
Rocky, you are spot on. I heard today that in Italy, the death rate is not liminted to older folks. Younger folks have become fatalities.
at the moment at the idiots stock piling and emptying super market selves of stupid stuff its so selfish ! .... and are making it very difficult for the elderly and more at risk to get what they need to self isolate for there own protection
We are having this panic and hoarding all over the US. In my areas there not a roll of toilet paer or any hand sanitizer to be found in any box store, grocery store ot drug store. Florida has laws against price gouging. A man in his 30 was busted by authorities for selling had sanitizer and disinfectant wipes at exorbitant prices. He had a huge stockpile of these items and he was reselling them. His entitire stock was confiscated. He claimed his prices were reasonable. However, not only was he price gouging, he had no license as a retailer.
The problem is a carrier can spread it without having any symptoms. That carrier often does not know he or she is infected.
