We are allowed to ride motorcycles, atv's, bicycles and run, jog or walk on trails. We can launch boats, kayaks, and canoes. We must keep the social distance unless we are members of the same household and groups can be no larger that 10.

I ride almost every day.

I don't know if a second wave or 3rd or 4th are inevitable - all they can do is slowly let people start to congregate together and keep the spike under control so healthcare does not get over run. At some point all people will have to have exposure as there is no vaccine.

Well its looking like we are on lock down till the end of June :y20: im not sure i can wait to ride that long , i think i will be taking small local rides and not stopping unless its well out of the way .
So if everybody takes your attitude that the rules only apply to others but not you ... ???
As I type the United Kingdom has 14,576 dead and 108,692 confirmed positive cases, yeah, go for a ride.

We've got just under 400 comfermed with 6 deaths it seems italy has been a worse spreader than china and most cases originate there .
If everyone takes some responsibility for there own hygiene then it should die out fairly quickly , it isn't as deadly as a common cold or the flue can be it just spreads quicker as it is very contagious.

Not trying to be confrontational, but these lockdown policies are created by politicians and bureaucrats as a one size fits all in some cases. If one lives in a rural area, the circumstances are very different than if one lives in an urban or suburban environment. Fortunately, here in Florida, those in charge have recognized this.

I can ride my bike without violating the lockdown rules. If the lockdown did not take these factors into consideration, I would probably do what Shane said he is going to do. I do not ride into Orlando or other congested areas.

Let's not let this get into a "discussion" about various local policies - or individual choices - right or wrong.
It is what it is so let it go at that.

This thread is starting to get a bit spiky so im unwatching it and not posting here anymore .
The only reason I keep coming back is to monitor the posts so they don't go off the rails.
I can get all I need to know about this virus from my local news. I don't need to come here to be updated.
As far as I'm concerned this thread has run its course.
However, in the meantime, let's keep things light and friendly.
