Half of us are going to come out of this quarantine as amazing cooks. The other half will come out with a drinking problem.

I come down on the side of being a better cook.
I've been experimenting with different recipes and have learned a lot of things I hadn't bothered to try before.

Sound promising. Hopefully this drug turns out to be all they hype it up to be in the battle against Covid 19.
We are all hoping that boris will be able to pull through after being admitted to intensive care over the weekend in a bad way 
The other day when our provincial Premier was ending a TV news conference update on the virus situation, he said to the viewers, "Stay the blazes home!"
Local entrepreneurs picked up on that very quickly, and little did he know he had spawned a series of merchandise; T-shirts, coffee mugs, pillows, and other merchandise emblazoned with the phrase "STAY THE BLAZES HOME" - even a local country song
He isn't one of the most popular leaders we've ever had, but has suddenly become somewhat of a folk hero
From what I hear, much/most of the sales money is going to charity.
The last I heard, our cases are up around 300 now, but no deaths and only a few in hospital.

Good for him, thats the best thing we all can do this day and time and after all its only for a short time sure will make a big difference.

The conspiracy theories going around are something else. The guy who said Covid-19 tests are contaminated likely buys in to one of the conspiracies. The problem is it's all well presented and quite believable so there are going to be many folk taken in.
One such theory blames 5G networks for making people sick with flu-like symptoms and the Covid-19 tests are designed to infect people with Covid-19 so the symptoms are present outside the range of 5G networks as part of a world-wide cover up. There's other theories as well.
It amazes me that people, knowing this is all nonsense portray it all as fact. Either that or, more likely, they are delusional themselves.
On the other hand, for all I know it could be true - however far-fetched. I don't know what to believe these days there's so much nonsense and manipulation going on.

Don’t think there was nearly as much fake news when we grew up but as people began to realize that about half of of the population were idiots they really started to produce it . Once again , Economics , supply and demand .
Just checking the news .. Apparently the cruise ship lines are planning to resume operations in the middle of May . How will that one work ? Sweety took me to the Dairy Queen drive thru today for a Sunday . Went to the grocery store yesterday , three weeks since the truck left the garage . The registration had expired so I did it online where I noticed that all vehicle registrations had been extended untill June 1 so don’t have to do the bikes till then . Got the summer tires installed which is nice , the winter ones were noisy although just 40 % worn , Nokia’s , a great tire I guess . Will rotate them differently next fall and hope they are better. My aunt‘s boyfriend passed yesterday . He was 97 , not corona related . No deaths yet here in Canada’s smallest province , people behaving very well and teaching school on that internet thingy . Not sure what the government official policy will be on motorcycles will be . Traditionally they have been against them but put up with them since Easy Rider hit the screen . Health professionals are the biggest haters , call them murdercycles , of course they see the carnage in the ER so who can blame them . So many bad riders around here and most of them have to burn rubber before the grit is off the roads . We don’t use our own red sand anymore , it’s grey grit , no doubt from Canso Causeway and it’s heavy , not easily blown of the road so will need a heavy rain which we need anyway. The dust is blowing around already .
