Well, Prince Charles has now recovered apparently, so bang goes my hope to take the throne. Boris Johnson has it too, along with some of the Cabinet. We've been told the UK would do well to finish with 20,000 dead. Much anger as to why the government didn't see this coming - it was in China months ago now.
Our police are being heavy handed, 'shaming' people using drone footage - and all those people did was drive somewhere isolated to get some (allowable) exercise alone. Us Brits are policed 'by consent', so this is damaging. If I ride alone to an isolated piece of countryside (which is easy here in East Yorkshire), take a walk, get some fresh air and top-up my sanity then ride home alone, what has that to do with the police? I'm compromising nobody's health. There's a chance I'd have an accident, admittedly, which would be an extra burden on the authorities, but we're being encouraged to exercise on bicycles and do DIY, which are much more dangerous overall.
Our NHS is appreciated more than ever, but they are short of personal protection equipment and putting themselves into danger. I'm very confused by how C19 can be fatal to some, but simply give others a bit of a cough. It's certainly the longest lasting thing ever that was made in China.
I agree with you on all points especially that the Wuhan Virus is the longest lasting ever made in China!

Metro Detroit area here- hot spot for virus, 5th in USA. 500 Detroit police are in quarantine including the Chief who has tested positive. State Rep. for Detroit/Hamtramck, Isaac Robinson died Sunday from virus, age 44. Good man, hard worker, dedicated civil servant. lStreets mostly empty, quite eerie. Schools closed down about 3 weeks, scheduled to open mid April, but will likely close for rest of school year.
We are self employed and so far, fingers crossed, we are still working and getting our pay check, still healthy though word came today our grand daughter who is an emergency medical tech. first responder, has been told she may go into quarantine after being exposed to a patient on a 911 run that was positive. She is extremely diligent with personal protection equipment, so hoping all is well.

This is sad news for sure but lets hope her diligence in staying safe paid off.

I am glad you are still doing okay. I am sorry to hear about your granddaughter. I hope she is virus free and salute her for her work in the community

@DaveM Does sound nor look good over there. Stay safe, my friend.

Here in Indiana it's starting to ramp up. Our county has a couple of cases now. Still wonder what the true number is. I figure the numbers are much higher than what they show. My sister is in Bolivia and she said they have no confirmed cases in her small town but they have over 100 cases of pneumonia.

I suspect your sister is seeing one in the same. 100 cases of pneumonia l suspect is 100 cases of Covid. Unless they normal have 100 cases happening which i really don't think would be normal. Please tell her to isolate even if her govt has not instructed her to. It is the only thing that saves lives and stops the virus from spreading.

Yup almost a certainty. They are smart and have been isolating for a few weeks now. The whole country is on forced quarantine now. You can only go out one time a week and that is determined by your id numbers.
