Do what I've just done.

Apart from making the bike undeniably more aesthetically unattractive, thieves won't want to have their expensive trackie bottoms come in contact with a dead and possibly slightly manky animal.

# Parked by a lot passing traffic, both vehicles and pedestrians. Someone could call the police, especially if disc-cutter used.

# Locked to immovable object.

# Both wheels locked. Harder to leave one wheel behind (I've seen that).

# Disc lock requires something other than bolt cutters. Possibly difficult with a grinder/cutter.

# Choc Lab sits guard.


PS. Technically, a parking ticket could be issued. Not because on pavement per se, but because within six feet of yellow lines other side of chain fence.
