Yes there the two things we all take for granted especially here in europe .... but when there not there it can be a miserable existence .
Hope it all gets back to something near normal for you Dave ... soon !

Snakesfield, you are going too far with your cutting remarks.

Without battery backup your solar power goes to the grid, and you get credit for it, so you do save money. But without battery back up, when the grid goes down you have no power. If your panels feed your home directly, and doesn't go directly to the grid, then in an outage you have power only while it is daylight.

Well we started our week off on Monday with no internet, Tuesday brought us no Water and Wednesday not to be left out we had no power, internet and water.

So far Thursday has been a huge success having all three but I see Sunday will bring us no power, water or internet again FACE

So I decided I needed a T-shirt BGRIN

I thought Texas was hot, desert like. Maybe I'm misremembering all those cowboy films. And Dallas the TV series with JR Ewing.
Depends on the region of Texas. It’s definitely hot here, but parts of Texas are very wooded and yes some parts arid. Terrain goes from hilly to relatively flat just depends on the region. Houston area is relatively flat, but plenty of trees. It’s old sea bottom basically.

Park below. Just about everything grows in this area.

I’ll dig up a few pictures later.

This winter wasn’t really very cold at all in Houston. My beef of the day is it’s damn nice out and I can’t do much. Also hearing motorcycles passing my house or in the distance at night makes me a bit sad. Spring is almost gone.

Yes, that can be annoying to hear and you can't do it yourself. Heal well first and then there will be no holding you back BGRIN

What about sitting in a deckchair sipping a mocktail, trousers rolled to knees? Eating salted almonds. Maybe reading. That's plenty.
Ive been down for a bit with Predisone withdrawals and the weather is perfect.
Sorry to hear that. Hopefully it'll be warm turkey soon.
Perfect weather is a great balm though.

I’ve been doing a bit of that and gained a few kilos in the process. Thinking I need to but on my sneakers and go for some walks instead! LoL
