Well done and I have no idea why the one should be lower than the other
Sorted !
Here's a question. With all things measuring and being equal, including compressions, why does the LH float need to be lower than the others to achieve a similar mixture?
Float level differences between carbs are relatively the same as the low speed mixture screws - they are ALMOST NEVER exactly the same between any two carbs. Each should be adjusted as an individual system, then carefully synchronised together as a matched group. This is sometimes a tedious process, but the rewards are well worth the effort.
Wow what a find! I am sure I will not be able to get mine looking that good but am hoping once I have her up and running she will at least be a head turner. I really need to give mine a name but we are not well enough acquainted yet. Most likely after we get her running again.
Good luck with your project. Your T160 is already a head turner. Riding it will be the icing on the cake.
Hi SD
Sorry I've been a bit MIA of late, my enforced sabbatical (retrenched) has not turned in to relaxed hours of riding and tinkering but a slog of odd jobs around the house that i never had time to do before.
Surprised to see you've got the new love of your life in apart alreadyhope your not neglecting "Boris" too much!
Thoroughly enjoyed reading through your (into the detail) high quality posts, it feels like I'm there with you
I've still got the suspension work to on the TSS and providing i don't get a job in the next week or 2 I might actually get it done...
Cheers for now.
Mike
I'll stick with that, as my singing has every dog in the neighborhood howling, cat running for cover and small children crying. Worse than practicing the bagpipes!
LoL, I'm working solo at night in my boys petshop at the mo, and my singing is so bad all the kittens and puppies start crying and howling. So I've gone back to listening to a radio while I work which is taking a bit of getting used to because radios have been banned on most construction sites for the last ten to twenty years.
no worrys there Bryce
all the frogs are still tadpoles.![]()
