O.K. gang need a a little help. Shannon collects "spoons" .........well and critters but I will be DAMNED if we need more of THOSE! :y2:
Her Birthday is in July.......yes I am starting early, but I was wondering if some of my fellow TT brothers would .....well ...."help a Brother out."

Here is what I would like to surprise her with..... A really COOL "location" spoon from abroad. I don't know if you all have seen them( Pic below) .....or know about them, but I thought I would see if I could snag 1 or 2 from other countries, maybe ya'll have some sitting around or what not. They are not terribly expensive and I would paypal cost & freight. But would like to get one or two from far off, New Zealand, Australia, England, Europe, Italy, South America, .....she has many from the U.S. but I would like to get her one from someplace....well honestly, she may never actually get to.
So, let me know via PM if anyone wants to snag one (or has a spare lying around) and send it. Thanks.

FYI......don't tell Shannon :y10::y15:

Thanks tons Gang, just let me know what you come up with. I thought spoons from "round the world" would be a really cool surprise gift.
Otherwise, to answer your question, no she has a shelf "hanger" thing she displays them on. So special boxes not needed. :y2: Also Shannon is not a "high dollar broad" if you get my drift, new is not a requirement either. Hell most her "cherished possessions" including me where used lol. But she seems to love and cherish them more with a little "character". :y15:

Again thanks much everyone for your assistance. Very cool of you all.:y6:

Ok I went down to a more touristy place that had a shop with all these types of goodies but they had closed down. The only ones I could find in that shopping complex were these but I think you would be looking for more country specific spoons so I will still look around a bit more for you.

Besides the price of them put me off a bit 30.00 ZAR = 3.33574 USD :y10:

Those are very very nice. Agree they are a bit pricey as well.:y10:
Yes I am looking more for Country/City/State specific type spoons. They are typically like 5-10.00 U.S. if that, here anyway.
Sorry shoulda posted a better pic to begin with (duh) this should be a little bigger to see the detail.

Man O man, spoons like that are actually hard to find these days.
Managed to get these, only one of the two made in Australia. BLUSH

Well I have now been to every considerable place where you would expect to find this type of thing and it is not looking good. The airport had one but really cheap looking. I then found one at Cardies (the only one) and it seems it had been in the store so long that the price was missing and the owner had no idea what to charge me. So he just sucked up a price and I took it. Not that great either so I will hang onto it until I can find something of a better quality and just put this one with as it is not really worth sending on by itself. I am actually shocked that in a touristy town I cannot find something like this. I have seen these in Jeffreys Bay a small holiday coastal town just down the coast, so if I am in that area I will check that out as well BLUSH

Harry and Kevin have set the bar very high :y145: so now I feel just plain GRUMPY :y2:
