Well looking at the photo it seems to be in a war museum of sorts. So if it is European I would say we leaning towards German here but not a BMW so now I am stumped Being a single and that top end looks a bit large so I would further say around a 500

Hmm a German single then it is, now what one as it is not a BMW or Zundapp either I think
So far the best hit I am now getting on this is the "The 250cc BMW R27" but it sure is not this one

Well done hemibee. The AWO 425 was the only 4 stroke made in the former esdt germany and was actually s 250cc.
