Carlos Tacconi.
Thank you very much, my friend. It has been hard; but I am healing. Thank you for caring.

I am looking forward to visiting Argentina. We are planning the trip for 2013. I will have to ask my neighbor where her mama lives. I do not know the city.

I am looking forward to meeting you and to see your TR6.

I would like to have attended that motorcycle meet. Thanks for the great photos. There are some mighty nice bikes there. I love motorcycles and especially vintage bikes.

A big hug and safe travels.

Nice pics, ducarly TUP
The guys have posted a few new pictures, but no update on their blog.
The GPS track shows them on the outskirts of Cuzco - sometimes spelled Cusco.

I am certainly envious of their trip!!

I have help! My Argentine neighbor comes to my rescue. Mae Lyne used to my interpretation for me. BGRIN When Mabel, my neighbor, is not available, I fall back on Google Translate.

Aha, now the cat is out of the bag! And all this time I thought your were ambidextrous :y2:
I've used Google translation sites too for Spanish and Dutch.
My son-in-law's family is from Holland.

Hi Forum:
Carls ... I'm doing the same!:y7: ... with the difference that I have no neighbors to speak English !!!!. GOD SAVE THE GOOGLE Traslator!!:y2:

Unfortunately I only have English, but after these last couple of posts I'm going to give the Google translation a try and show it to a friend to check how well it works.

Kevin, it does a pretty good job; but it is not totally accurate with grammar. However, it is far better than my Spanish! :y2:

The guys have updated their blog and posted some new pictures.
They mentioned being stopped by corrupt cops several times outside of Lima.
We ran into these cops at different places too, but we were a pack of seven motorcycles and a truck and just went on by.
Our tour leader was wise to their nonsense and didn't even slow down so we followed. Not much they could do about it :y2:

I wonder if they are pressed for time? There is much to see in Peru.

I was wondering the same thing. Their destination is Argentina so maybe that's the case.
The Inca ruins around Cuzco are amazing as is Machu Picchu and shouldn't be missed.
But they're young and have lots of time to come back again.
I would certainly like to go again.

I agree. I hope to be able to spend some leisure time in Peru in 2013. I am planning to go to Argentina with my neighbor. Her brother has bikes; so I will not even have to rent a bike. I hope we have some time to visit Peru; but there is much to see in Argentina, too.
