Re: Monthly Photo Competition

Well at times it does spring to mind but with these types of things we each see a photo differently so you just can never tell how it is going to swing

Re: Monthly Photo Competition

I see a good thread coming here

If she advances the process I'll start a thread, she's talked about getting a license for years. Back in the 70's she did a small amount of off road stuff and after our club road race championships at Oran Park one year we invited the wives and girlfriends to race in a "powder puff derby". She was up for it on my 250, none of the girls were quick but they had a go. Last week we went out looking for a possible bike for her, I'm pushing her towards a Honda VTR 250. The problem is these days it's a two day training program before a permit is even issued. We'll see if the momentum builds of fades away.

Reject, also thinking of clocks.

Wow. Harry your #4 photo is stunning. Is that a Rata tree dropping its flowers. Motorcycles take us to some beautiful places.

Kevin. Your #1 is all about the human factor with motorcycles. Its only a machine until it is ridden........then it comes alive. Terrific photo.

Avion,I agree with Kevin, that would have been a serious contender.
To be honest,on more than one occasion, i think I have submitted the wrong pic.

Thanks Bryce, I actually wonder if I should have entered that one. That is in fact a Pohutukawa, very similar to the southern Rata. That spot is 2 minutes from my home, and those traffic lights in the middle of the pic are the traffic lights on the main highway running through Paraparaumu.
