Re: Monthly Photo Competition

Sorry to be negative but when the number of people voting aint much more than the number entering ... I've got better things to do.
Yes, I've had a couple of reds tonight, but I've felt this way for some months now and it hasn't changed.

gentle reminder here, the purpose of this thread is to promote the competition and try and entice more entries, not debate the merits of it.
If you dont wanna play kev that is your choice, but then make your boycott complete and dont put a negative vibe on this thread.
And no,I've not had a drink, but I have thought carefully about my reply.

Fair comment, suitably chastised.

Re: Monthly Photo Competition

Well... I personally love the Photo Contest. I've not had a great Summer in order to post a photo every month, but I enjoy the photos and voting on them!!

Monthly Photo Competition

Good one Harry.

I like looking at the photos almost as much as getting a ride in to grab my own. Ok, nothing really compares with getting out in the wind to grab a photo or to just ride but I do really enjoy seeing the different interpretations posted in the contest.

Me too TUP
I enjoy the shots and the variety from so many parts of the world that I'll probably never get to see.
Whether I win or not has never mattered to me. I just enjoy the game and being pleasantly surprised when the photos are revealed.

Re: Monthly Photo Competition

Harry the second and then the forth from your rejects is how I'd pick them.

Rejects, OK last week Sharron and I had the old girl out in the park behind our place, Sharron was taking riding lessons (another story). Coming back into our yard I set the tripod and timer up and got this. The family said that it was the shot to enter but I know it is a "family" type photo, they like it because I have my mouth shut for a moment.

I mucked about with some props and this was a contender but chose another.
