I need help. Yeah I know.....
When fully warmed up, my 955i has a high tickover which will drop back to 1100 after a while (several minutes) but when riding it stays at around 1500rpm. I've replaced the crank speed sensor and the rubber gasket around the IACV but it's still doing it.
Anyone had similar?

As its an efi, I cant help on the electronics side of the issue, but, have you checked the basics such as free unrestricted return of the butterflies, ie,not sticking or a spring binding somewhere.

Not yet. By posting this I was fishing for ideas before I strip it down.

Mate of mine has suggested this :-
Time to clean the inlet tubes then. The butterflies in the inlets get black deposits around the spindles and this builds up. So a complete clean required. Solvo and WD40 with a stuffed rag in the inlet usually sorts it out. No need to remove from bike. Adrian Pondlife gave me these tips years ago.

Many Thanks
