Lucky you guys. Would love to visit Arizona sometime. Was even too hot here quite a few days this summer for comfortable riding. Knocking on +40C with the humidity a lot. Not hot compared to you but skinking hot compared to what we normally get here.
Anyways, I hope the OP gets the bike he wants as our riding season is winding down on the Eastern side of the continent. Still some nice days left yet.
I left humidity decades ago. Nasty stuff. The most we ever get here at 4700’ is 13%. Not like when I grew up in NY, 99° and 99% humidity.
Sedona is gorgeous with twistys all over.
Cars aren’t the problem, wildlife is.

I agree with you on all three points. I loved riding in AZ when I was stationed there.

If you like mexican try the Hacienda inn in Cottonwood.

Was about to purchase a 2018 Speedmaster, but found a low mileage 2014 T-Bird with ABS. Looks and feels like a grown up Speedmaster. Color is Lava Red with Silver Shadow. With Viking saddle bags, detachable Triumph windscreen. Any thoughts about that vintage? Build quality, reliability, etc?
Big difference between a speed master and a Thunderbird.

Two completely different animals.

If you read further down the thread you’ll hear from people complaining about the chirp from the belt.

One way I found to keep the belt centered is to ride on some rough pavement as in a highway that has all been clawed up But hasn’t been paid yet and ride over it as fast as you can and take the hard bumps.

A steady stream of rough pavement at a decent speed seems to center the belt at least for me

Would love to hear opinions to the "stalling" issue with my '14 Storm... Stalls out when decelerating and won't idle w/o stalling. Ant thoughts? is it a Sensor?

High probability you have a MAP tube loose. These control the low throttle fueling via vaccum pressure. When one of them comes off the synmptoms are as you describe. The big question is does it run fine once at speed and at more than slight throttle openings? If so thats 95% the likely problem. I'll post back if i can find a pic i made years ago to show where they are located under the tank.

Ok, heres the pic. If you look under the front right area of the tank you will see one of the map sensors (B) and the rubber connector and tube coming off it. You can see the other one in the pic but only the rubber and tube, the other map sensor is hidden in the pic. Anyways, that rubber connector can come off and you can usually reach right under the tank using a flashlight and see it and push it back on. They can also spring a leak where they go to the throttle bodies but thats much harder to get too and fairly uncommn, while the connectors in the pics come off VERY commonly. I attached mine more permanently many years ago and they haven't come off since, tho i don't recall how i did. Maybe tie wraps tho not sure.

Thank you so very much... That was exactly the issue... Runs better then ever now.... TY!!!

Great. Yeah, those things are a PITA and lots of people have had that happen. Lucky for you your bike is a 2014. The first year or 2 (mine is first year) there are two pipes, one from the map sensors and one to the throttle bodies and are connected together under the middle of the tank with a MUCH TOO SHORT piece of rubber hose. So when it would seperate there, which mine did, you would have to pull the tank to get to it. Stupid move by triumph and why they did that is beyond me. When it happened to me i got a much longer piece of rubber hose so they couldn't seperate. Your 2014 has a single tube. Apparently at some point the triumph engineers grew a brain. The entire map tube system is just stupid to begin with. Those rubber boots should NEVER come off. They should have been designed to stay on in any one of a zillion possible ways. I think if i recall i tie wrapped mine.
