I hate to do this. . . but

We were touring the University of Texas this morning and I'm glad I was covered up or I would have gotten sunburnt.

The Texas Hill Country sky at noon.

And a shot 180 degrees from the above.

You can just see the Texas State Capital about a mile from this location.

I just came in soaking wet from moving snow; rain on the outside and sweat on the inside, EEEUUUUUU!!!
It was on the verge of turning to rain so I got the blower out and went at it.
The snow was damp and heavy and the blower struggled, but I didn't push it past its limits.
The rain then started, but I had to keep going. It eventually became too much so I had to finish with a shovel.
Very cold temps are to follow so it's going to be a nightmare then.

Had no idea till I tuned into the weather channel you guys where getting the magnitude of storm your getting. Be safe Rocky that is one WHOPPER and it looks like another heading in behind it.
Good Vibes and trying to send some rays of sunshine yer way!!!!!

Strangely, the sun just broke through and the storm is over.
The temps have dropped like a rock and it went from 6C (43F) to -6C (21F) and the freezing has started.
Vehicles that have been outside will be very hard to get into now.
Fortunately, mine is in a garage, but the water collects at the bottom of the doors and will need to be chopped out FACE

Seen the pix of all the local flooding in your area Rocky. If they don't get the drains opened up before all that freezes, it's gonna be one helluva mess. Good luck.

I just came in from snow blowing the driveway and it took me almost 2.5 hours. Still have some more cleanup to do after it stops blowing and drifting here. Pile at the end of driveway from the plow was 3-4 feet high. had to knock some down with the shovel just to be able to blow it.

I had to do that twice yesterday as the city kept filling in my driveway to the street.
I know those guys have a job to do, but they sure make it hard on the property owners.

Ha, Hemi. I wish I had only that little snow. I'd be out playing in it too.
We got 33 cms in our area and high winds causing drifting during that last Nor'easter.
Prince Edward Island and parts of Nova Scotia (Annapolis Valley) got hit with 65-70 cms and high winds.
Getting another 10-15 cms here tonight thru tomorrow.
On the bright side it is finally starting to warm up a little :)
