Ok here we go a bit about this bike.

It’s a 1973 1000cc four cylinder. It was built experimentally from Trident three-cylinder parts. It was good for more than 125mph but did not survive, it came just too late. It was also nicknamed the “Quadrant”.

Yes Dave your right, built in secret by Douge Hele, in triumphs experimental works in Kitts Green.
Only the one was ever made, though there are several examples that have been built by accomplished engineers. One is 'George Pooley' which is the one pictured in your video facts.
A very intriguing bike.
 
A while back one of the British classic bike magazines I subscribe to did a detailed story on the Quadrant and even rode it a short distance.
That's how I knew about it.
As Spanna said, only one was ever built and it resides in the museum in Birmingham.
