To digress only a little bit, when we were in South America we saw all manner of Chinese knock-offs of Japanese bikes with strange names like Takasaki, Century, Centurion. etc.
Obviously just made up names, but the streets were full of them - 250 and 300cc sizes.
Cheap year-round transportation in those countries with no snow.

It's a Chinese copy of a Honda Dax,a monkey bike real tiny,I bought it from a friend it was tuned with a race pipe,unruly to ride no matter how gentle on the throttle.Wheelied a lot due to the short wheelbase.
So off it went.Will search for something else ot post ASAP.

Correct, I owned the 360 RT1 most fun bike I have ever owned.

I had a CT2 175 as my first real motorcycle - fantastic little machine.
Any way here is what preceded the Japanese trail bike. not really in the same league, hence the DT1 was such a revelation
