We've been seeing the warnings on the news and hope that the cold North Atlantic will keep it away from us.
Once in a while that cold water is good for something
But a strange thing happened the other day when a tropical storm formed out in the ocean off the Canadian east coast. That was a stunner considering how cold the water is
theres one thing for sure tony you'd struggle to lead an exsperdtion to the north pole !
but then again me and rocky would struggle to walk up the street in your town
That's why I'll only lead an expedition to the South Pole where it's warm.

It is still raining here! Flood warnings for every river in Cumbria and North Lancashire have been issued, and there has been widespread flooding in Wigan, Darwen, and West Yorkshire. I'm pleased I live on top of a hill!

steve wev'e escaped most of the realy heavy stuff till now ! we had 1inch of rain in an hour yesterday in a small storm.
wev'e had it in fits and starts of very heavy showers , but i think wales and the north of england have been afected the worst.

Almost mid winter for us.
Today sat on a chilly but clear 17'c, just cool enough to have a light coat when outdoors.
Took my mum and family to Sydney to celebrate my mum's 82 birthday.

A top day out, not too bad for winter.

We should be flirting with the century mark the next couple of days and then about Tuesday we should be 100F/38C. Finally getting to summer.

I went out on my bike this morning and
it rained. So I have a dirty Tiger.
That is very rare here during winter- usually it's bone dry from May through to the end of September.
