Today was not of the best, our night temperatures are anything from -3c up to 4c in the mornings and during the day from 15c up to17c

OK, now I'm grumpy! Freezing outside and we have......................NO electricity! We do have a fireplace though - guess I'm sleeping in the lounge tonight where it'll be warm! BIG hurumph!!!!

We returned to normal temps today, 94F/34.5C. Yesterday we dang near froze, rainy and 73F/23C.

I always smile to myself when I read about those "freezing" temps :y2:
73F/23C Is a beautiful summer day here.
It's those 90F+/30C+ temps that take the good out of me.
We rarely get those temps here on the Atlantic coast, but if we do it's time for the shade tree until it cools off.

I thought you would enjoy that.

We were up in Ohio a few years ago and couldn't get over the low summer temps. The folks there at Sandusky were complaining about how hot it was, 74 degrees (it did get up to 79 that afternoon) and all I could do was laugh because when we boarded the flight to head up there it was 105 here.

For the first day of summer it got up to 26C (79F) here and was quite a warm day. Up until now it has been really cool - even for us - so the sudden jump in temp was like hitting a wall.
Our bodies adapt to where we live so what may be cool to others is warm to us and vice versa.
I would just about die in 105F temps.
A/c in homes and cars was almost unheard of here, but is more common now.
I have a/c in my Subaru and love it :y13: :y15:
