+8C today (2 pm). I have seen a few bikes (two HDs) here now in 2024 :). Still, the weather will move colder soon (Wed-Thu night: -10C ... and at daytime about 0C). That is pretty normal for here now in April ... spring will take two steps ahead and then one step back.

Sunny spring weather, there’s a bee in the pic!

About 28C outside at the moment. Likely the high for the day.

We've had quite a few days(in between all the little nuisance snowfalls), that others have been out riding already. I will be out as well soon. Need the snowcrap to stop so they stop dumping salt and sand on the roads here. I'd ride at +8-10C. Did it quite a few times.
The salt is bad up north. Totally understand not wanting to go out.

Perfect spring riding
Well ... yesterday we still got 5cm new white snow. And last night the temperature almost reached -10C and it would not rise higher than 0C now at the daytime. So my bike will stay in the warehouse.

But the first (and ''hopefully'' the last) small mods for 2024 arrived yesterday. Just as I did enough already last year. I'm planning to install these to Tiger (one rainy boring summer day). So no hurry for that now.

Opposite I have purchased a lot of clothes lately. I have one bigger celebration/party coming up in May. But I doubt none here is interested in those. :giggle:

Okay , so the red thing heats something , I think ? But what ? And the black thingys , I have no idea .
Got my insurance bill yesterday though . Guess who much it cost this old guy to insure both bikes , ‘16 Thruxton R and ‘23 Tiger Sport 850 public liability only ??

Looks like 10 next week so I’m heading out to test my GPS mount no matter what .

The red thing heats the seat. I will install it under the seat cover (which I have).

The black piece in the middle is a gear shifter lever supporter ... or stabilizer.

The last one on the left will help to park on slope etc. Or in traffic lights (etc.) you can rest your hands.
=> you can lock the front brake lever.
