Triumph T120R 1970 Advice On Running Problem

Hi I am looking for advice please. My 1970 T120R was rebuilt about 2000 mile ago. It was running well and I needed to torque down the head, as per instructions. After this I tried to take it out for a ride. The bike starts, but will not rev up and eventually conks out every time. I've checked for disconnected HT leads, caught wires etc from the tank removal but cannot find out what is wrong. Anyone have any idea why it would work before and not after being torqued down ?

Did you redo the valve clearances? If not, do them.

As you re-torque the head, you are tightening all of the rocker clearances. ESPECIALLY if the bolts took more than a few degrees to tighten.
