I don't understand the last few posts.
When it's cold like +10c it's leather.
When it's hot like +30c it's cotton tee shirt and jeans.
Real easy, don't complicate life.

I wear my mesh gear year round. Of course during the winter I may have several layers under the mesh and have the liner or some kind of windbreaker also under the mesh.

I got off this morning to cool weather, it was only 74.6 DegF but the humidity was right at 72% so it wasn't too comfortable. For the past three weeks the morning temps have been in the mid to upper 80's with high humidity.

Posting with Tapatalk for iPhone.

Usually, by this time in August, the summer heat and humidity has passed and early fall-like temps move in.
Not so this year. It's going to be 27C (81F) today with relatively high humidity - and for the forseeable future.
That's not hot for many, but it's uncomfortable for us.
My lakeside cottage needs painting and I've been working at that in the very early morning (7:00 AM) before the sun comes around and cooks me. I've been coming home each day because of duties at home, but later today the two of us are going to stay for a few days so I can get the work done. I want September clear of chores so I can ride.
No internet at the lake so I'll see you in a few days.

We've been having a very warm and dry summer and people are flocking to the beaches by the hundreds. But as I mentioned in another thread, sharks and barracuda have been spotted here now due to the warming of the north Atlantic.
Thanks, but I'll stick to my lake where there aren't any predators :y2:
We spent the last six days at the lakeside cottage. It was a nice change for my wife but it was all work for me. The cottage needed painting and I had been working at it for several days prior to that. I finished it late yesterday, and since it was going to rain today, we came home.
According to Environment Canada, we're on a trend to set a record for sunshine and dry days this summer. They also say that this trend will continue into September and possibly early October. The nights will gradually get cooler of course, and there may be cool days, but there should be plenty of sunny and warm days.
Because of little to no rain our lake is down about a meter (3 feet) and rocks I never saw before are exposed :y13:
The lake water is also warm and not such a shock to the system when I jumped in. There's nothing like a refreshing jump in the lake after sweating with a paint brush most of the day.
