Thanks for posting Silli! It's starting to look as if my little thatch roof 'office' is going to get a sprinkling of that white stuff today. If the wind drops, it's a real possibility! I HATE THE COLD! ANYTHING UNDER 25C CALLS FOR EMERGENCY ACTION! Like hot Irish Coffee!
You know, of course, that over here in iglooland, I'm doing my best to stifle my laughter at 25C as being cold :y43:
It's 19C today and I'm loving it in my shorts and tank top with no shoes and socks. But it's still early morning and will be 27-28C later which will pretty hot for us here on the coast. Inland it will get up over 30C. That's when I begin to wilt.

To tell the truth, I was a bit surprised at the snow over there.
Once in a while over here in late spring we will get a freaky storm that should have been rain, but we got wet snow instead because the jet stream shifted and let Arctic air move south. Thankfully, it's been a few years since this happened.

Rocky when I was at school we used to have snow in the town often but always on the surrounding mountains. I am now just no into it anymore living by the coast. We normally have very mild winters but this one is harsh for us.

its 12c here and cloudy just a couple of degree's to cold for a Tshirt , but i think it may get to 14 or 15c this afternoon so long sleeved shirt off Tshirt on .:y6:
When I read this I made a point to take a look at the map and see that Scotland is further north than where I am on the 45th parallel. That accounts for the cooler weather. I always thought we were more or less on the same geographic level.
Live and learn is a good thing.

I'd trade ya about 10 degrees of that cold for 10 of our heat. It's above 100 in the the valleys all this week and 90 in whats usually the cool area. Would you mind pointing a large fan in my direction....maybe it will blow some of that cold over here. :y2:
