Question About Oil

I’m seeing that the recommended oil is 10-50, would 20-50 be ok? The 10–50 isn’t as readily available. I’m in a relatively cooler climate.

Think the 20W/50 would be a bit thick for a cooler climate. Is 10W40 one of the recommended oils for the rocket? That would be more readily available I would imagine.

Oh yes, we have plenty of 10-40 motorcycle oil, both conventional and synthetic. Thanks that’s what I’ll go with. And 10-40 is what I’ve been running in my jap bikes I didn’t know if 10-50 was a triumph British thing or what

The kit includes a oil filter and 3 crush washers. If you can't get then local I thought the link would be of use.

Yeah, I can get all the O-rings and crush washers I need and I just saw the documentation for the bike’s history, and it’s been 10-40 all along, so I’m gonna continue that. Thanks everybody.
