Question On Brake Lever And Clutch Lever

I have a bit of an odd question. I loosened the brake lever at some point and retightened at some point, but it occurred to me that I never marked the exact angle the lever is from the horizontal plane. Is there a set or recommend angle? Picture for reference as it is set at the moment.

Imagine there is a horizontal axis and let me know if this looks about right or is the angle a preference?

Should follow a line with your arm. Ultimately, I nudge up and down to see what's most comfortable (sitting on bike of course)

Thanks that makes perfect sense. A good guideline to know. I think I have some adjustment room then.

Yeah, that's definitely a personal preference thing. The only other thing I can recommend is to peruse the interwebs to see if there's any kind of pro's and cons tutorials advising on various angle positions.

I have both "elevated" slightly so I can get index and middle finger on them without effort, so I'm always "covering" the brake and clutch...takes a couple tries before I get it right

I do not...for me it's a "feel" more than anything else...each bike would be different. When I had a dirt bike the levers were almost parallel with the ground, as the angle of my wrist in relation to the levers was shallower, where on the TTRS the angle is steeper, so the levers are turned down...30 degrees or more if I had to guess. Looking at your picture, mine are rotated farther down (forward), again the angle of my wrist to the lever is steeper...that help?
