I have the Elmer's felt tip. I ordered it along with some books and other stuff a couple of months ago.
The tip isn't as fine as I expected it to be for getting into tiny corners.
There seems to be quite a few hobby and crafts paints available at Michael's, etc., but the staff don't seem to be very knowledgable about them and I'm reluctant to just take a stab at one and hope for the best.

I used Dutch Boy gold paint out of a rattle can with model paint brush on my other seat. The Scrambler seat I've got on the bike already had Triumph in Gold from the factory.

Gary you need jto go to a hobby shop and get a very fine brush because the edges are going to be difficult.

I also build model airplanes from time to time - especially in the winter time - so have small brushes. I was thinking about decanting a rattle can and using the paint as you suggest.
But I was hoping for a solution that entailed less work - and maybe less mess :y2:

I wonder if the paint pens are any easier myself. I could not find one at Wll Mart so I went with the rattle can and model paint brush. Did it on the kitchen table while watching TV.

Please do TUP

She did a friends T100 pre EFI, it had the stamped out but unpainted Triumph logo.
As stated in my previous post she used, brand JO SONJA'S, product ARTIST'S GOUACHE, colour RICH GOLD. I just noticed it's made in the USA so probably available to most on this forum. "Chroma Acrylics Inc. 205 Buckley Drive Lititz, PA 17543. Tel 717-626-8866"
She tells me the method used was to use a short bristled flat edged folk art brush and have cotton buds on hand to quickly clean any mistake. The first coat should be slightly watered down and well worked into the uneven surface. Allowed to dry fully before subsequent thinly painted coats are applied until full coverage is achieved.

The pen I got works well, needs a second coat and some tight corner work, It need not be perfect for me.
