It's a Vincent engine. With that front Grimeca brake and the many other non Vincent parts my guess is probably an Egli.

yep you were bang on ! it was the tank and rear mudgaurd, and some of the frame looked really like the old sach cafe racer !

I think that one off custom motorcycles are unfair, as they may not be widely known.

So instead, I'll as for the make, model and year of the series produced bike that the following custom is based upon. (hehehehehehehehehehe)
