No problem seeing the gauges. I'm not at the "full" height because I have it pulled back a little. I did have it at "full" height before adjusting it back and was able to see the cluster with no problem.

The model number of the set I purchased is 1R-P2PPA. These are the Clear Anodized 2" Rise X 1 1/8 stem clamp X 1 1/8 handlebar. I found these at a dealer on eBay for $73.98 with free priority shipping. I like to use RevZilla which is just outside of Dallas but they were a dollar more with free shipping and Texas State Tax so it was a no brainer especially since they didn't have the Clear Anodized in stock.

They also offer them in chrome or black.

Gave the risers a test today, I can't believe I wanted this long to get them. They were well worth the $74 I spent on them.

In the seat I felt like I was on a different bike, one built for me instead of me riding a run of the mill bike. While standing it felt more like my KTM, I wasn't bent over toward the bars.

I have to say if you are on the fence about installing risers. . . Cross on over and install them. TUP

Photo from the test ride, at the Two Wheeled Texans September Pie Run, New Waverly, Texas. It was a long haul, 8 miles from my house but someone has to put in the miles. If I had a Goldwing like Joe I probably could have made it even if it was 9 miles.

I'm beginning to wonder why I go to the Pie Runs, I never get any pie.

Another shake down ride for the Rox Risers today. Today they were tested in the dirt and on a rocky, sandy road. The bike felt in complete control. I'm really liking the risers more each day. All I have to do now is get the mirrors in the correct position. I thought I had them set but on the ride today I just did not feel comfortable with the mirror placement.

After I got home I ran to the local store of a larger Sports and Outdoor chain and picked up my "tank" bags. I didn't want a tank bag on this bike but had gotten used to having one on the old bike. Tried to find one that fit my needs but was unsuccessful in finding one I would actually pay for. The ones that were acceptable were too expensive so I had to look elsewhere . . . 5.11 Tactical had just what I needed, well sort of. A little customizing on the straps to fit the bike instead of M.O.L.L.E. Gear and I now have a couple bags that work good with the Matte Gear Tiger. Once I get my panniers installed I'll be ready to hit the road . . . wait, that doesn't sound right, maybe I should have said travel on down the road.

Still need to trim the straps but will wait until I get a couple rides in or I will tie them up instead of trimming them.

I think I need to go find some rain so I can wash the bike. :y2:

It appears they will protect the the tank bits in most tip overs. The plastic bits are actually factory tank protectors so I'm not real worried about them but would like to keep from replacing them too often.

When you look for a set of guards, look for one of the models that do not mount to the engine. There have been numerous reports of major engine damage caused by the engine guards that use the engine as mounting points. The only one I've seen that uses the engine for mounting points and not causing engine damage are the Triumph guards.

Givi TN6401A upper and lower mounts are to the engine mounts and the center (mid) mount is to the frame. Givi also offers aa guard that mounts to the engine so if you go the Givi route make sure the TN6401 has the "A" as the final part number sequence.

Got a few projects in the works for Jessica. Working on getting my panniers set up, sanding and sand blasting the old boxes while I wait for the pannier racks. Tool tube is built and waiting on the pannier racks to install. Top Box (Triumph box) is in the garage waiting to be installed. Placed and order for a noise maker last night. There is a set of LED driving lights in the garage that I had purchased for Black Betty, they need to be installed. I started gathering the parts to build an aux fuse box and my son said I shouldn't do it, wait a month first. . . may now know what Imight be getting for Christmas. :y2:

This is what the candy bar and the neck warmer came in . . .

Fuel Box.jpg

So I did a little more digging and this is what I found . . .

Fuel Box - Open.jpg

It was well protected for it's journey from Kendal to here
Fuel Packing.jpg

@keystiger . . . Do you think this will work?

I was surprised it arrived today, they had projected a delivery around the 19th of November. When I got home, I was running errands before coming to work, there was a missed delivery slip in my mailbox. Since it was a signature required delivery, she couldn't leave it on the doorstep so I loaded back up in the truck and went looking for her. Found her a couple streets over and got the package from her.
:chicken:

Now I have to get some time off so I can get it installed.

Headed straight to the garage when I got home this morning so I could get finished before the arctic blast hits here. They're saying the temp could drop to 45 DegF, currently 69.5 DegF. Need to find my long underwear. :ice2:

Fuel Exhaust installed. Now my little girl can growl. :y2:

With baffle . . .

Without baffle . . .

Now I need some seat time to see which way I run it.
