God, please intervene on behalf of Donnay. We ask for your mercy and grace to be showered down on her life, reaching into every cell of her body and restoring perfect health. Your Word says that you paid the ultimate price for our healing and salvation by sending Your Son to take all of our infirmities upon Himself and die on the cross on our behalf. Right now we come together in agreement, believing Your Word to be absolutely true. Please use every doctor, nurse, med tech, lab tech and other medical personnel to thier fullest ability; help them to properly administer every medication, treatment and therapy in Donnay's treatment. Help them to be alert, attentive and careful in every dosage of only the proper medications. Thank You, Lord, for your promises and blessings, in Jesus' name, AMEN!

THANK YOU to all the wonderful people on this forum. What a beautiful prayer from GrandPaul - thank you. Brought tears to my eyes.
I've just spoken to Donnae's dad, Mike - little one is still in theatre with about another hour+ to go. As soon as I hear from Mike, I'll definitely let everyone know.

Thank you all for your prayers and support and Thank You Lord for such wonderful people.
 
It's with the deepest sadness that I write this to you. Donnae passed away in the early hours of this morning after the surgery.
Our deepest thanks and gratitude to all the wonderful people on TT for their care, support and prayers.

I'll lend you for a little time a child of mine, He said,
for you to love the while she lives and mourn for when she's dead.
It may be six or seven years, or twenty two or three,
but will you, till I call her back, take care of her for me?
She'll bring her charms to gladden you, and shall her stay be brief,
you'll have her lovely memories as solace for your grief.
I cannot promise she will stay, since all from earth return,
but there are lessons taught down there I want this child to learn.
I've looked the wide world over in my search for teachers true
and from the throngs that crowd life's lanes I have selected you.
Now will you give her all your love, nor think the labour vain,
nor hate me when I come to call to take her back again?
I fancied that I heard them say: Dear Lord, thy will be done!
For all the joy thy child shall bring, the risk of grief we'll run.
We'll shelter her with tenderness, we'll love her while we may,
and for the happiness we've known, forever grateful stay;
but shall the angels call for her much sooner than we've planned,
we'll brave the bitter grief that comes and try to understand.

Gromit I am so sorry to hear this please convey our deepest sympathies to the family and to you guys that were close friends. I have come to know this sweet little girl only from here and face book but I still feel deeply sadden by this :cry:
 
As Gary said, there are no words. I am so sorry, Gromit. This is a hard and terrible loss to face. I send you and the entire family my heartfelt sympathy and empathy. Please convey my condolences to Donnae's parents. Edgar Guest's poem is very apropos and very true. There are things that we will never understand in this life and this is definitely one of those things.

God bless Donnae's parents, you and the entire family and give you all strength, comfort, healing , peace and consolation as you travel this dark road. May He hold you in his loving, sheltering arms.
 
To all the friends on this forum, THANK YOU. Thank you for your caring, support and prayers over the last 7 months. We know there's a difficult time ahead of us but time will eventually lessen the pain of loss. I can't say much else right now but I know you will all understand.
Thank you once again for your amazing friendships and support.
I'm going to print this entire thread for Mike and Chanel to read when they're up to or in moments when they need to know how many cared and how loved Donnae has been.
