Yes there is a meeting at Zwartkops on Saturday, think Eric is racing in the Thunderbikes class (?). There will also be car racing on the same day. He reckoned it wasn't worth coming through, unless your into Golf's with 3'rd stage cams. lol

Well - first meeting after the winter break, and I managed to come off the bike during the last practice session on Friday.

Bike relatively unscathed - I rode it back to the pits from the scene.

Body very sore so couldn't race. What a balls-up!

That's actually a good result.
When racing (or practicing to race) you have to crash from time to time, if you don't push to that point you aren't racing just playing at it.
Glad you walked away.

Incase no one has said it to you before. . . them thar motorsickles is dangerous, you should take up fishing or basketweaving, something safe. I wish I had a dollar for everytime I heard that while getting our race bikes ready for the next event. Glad you walked/rode away from the get off. Have fun out there, the next event will be here before you know it.

Thanks for your kind words folks. Almost fully healed... just have a pinched nerve at the back of shoulder. Soon be 100%. Next race 15th Sept.

Yes DaveB. Redstar CLOCKWISE. Last time I rode that was late last year on the Triumph trackday. I have some theories regarding riding the same track in both directions!!
