I Did A Strange Thing Today.....

I intended to purchase a Street Twin but liked the paint job and pipes on the Street Cup (strange name) so bought the Cup with bars and seat from a Street Twin. Seemed like a good idea at the time!

Picking her up next Saturday so will post some pics. The changes being made should be okay as it is basically a street twin but I will have to wait and see. Switched from Harley to Triumph, needed something a bit lighter in my old age.

Hello everybody, picked my street cup up today. Fab bike but a whole new way of riding compared to my last bike. Only done about 40 odd miles on her, this running the bike in lark is a bit of a bugger.

Have had Street Twin bars and seat put on her plus a grab rail for the good lady. Will use the original seat when I ride on my own.

its when you have a new bike and have to break the engine in keeping the rev's down ( running in ) ! ..... bugger is slang for ...... pain in the arss !

It sure is a nice looking bike and yes the running in process is always a bit of a pain but well worth following.

Well........a couple of weeks on and starting to feel more confident on the bike. The handling is very different compared to a Harley, I know I am stating the obvious but for some reason I have struggled a little turning right, especially on roundabouts.

I am loving the bike and looking forward to opening her up once the first service has been done. 150 miles to go!
